SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. — Like so many of these stories, this one begins with a shop owner’s father being involved with automobiles, and his son following in his footsteps. Not directly in those foot-steps though, because his dad ran a car dealership, and Ed Morrissey, who is now 69, became a bodyman. During a recent phone interview he gave from the shop he has had for 25 years, Morrissey explained his impetus for getting into this trade. “My dad was a Lincoln-Mercury dealer, and I came up with the cars,” he said of his formative years.…
