Scarlett’s Collision Center

COVID-19 has messed with so many things, including delaying AutoGraphic’s Automotive Report profile on Scarlett’s Collision Center. Originally slated to be covered in 2020, this Crossville, Tenn., shop was all set to go, just waiting on the renovation of a new facility so we could photograph it. But the novel coronavirus put that on hold till 2021, when Shop Manager Rusty Bowman and his crew were finally able to take up residence.

“It really didn’t slow us down,” Bowman said of the refurbish, “it just took a little bit longer because construction contractors had other priority projects that were held up. But it got done, and we moved in here in May.”

Still they had to hit the ground running.

“Right now I’m about a month behind,” he confirmed. “We did just hire more help, a body tech starting this week, so it’s been a struggle like any other business in finding someone, but we did. It’s starting to …
