AURORA, Ontario (AP) _ Magna International Inc. (MGA) on Friday reported fourth-quarter profit of $464 million.
On a per-share basis, the Aurora, Ontario-based company said it had profit of $1.54. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were $1.30 per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 83 cents per share.
The automotive supply company posted revenue of $9.11 billion in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $1.51 billion, or $5 per share. Revenue was reported as $36.24 billion.
Magna expects full-year revenue in the range of $38.8 billion to $40.4 billion.
