Lloyd’s Automotive Service of Saint Paul, Minn., has been a trusted fixture in the automotive repair field in the Twin Cities since 1947.
Nick Stoffel, the third owner of Lloyd’s, has worked on cars most of his life. He learned the basics the hard way — trial and error working on his old Camaro. According to Stoffel, he didn’t have a choice if he wanted a car to drive. He still owns that Camaro today.
Before he was old enough to drive, 15-year-old Stoffel was hired by Dan Burns at Highland Park Amoco. That was the beginning of a life-time mentorship and friendship. Nick worked for Burns through high school. More on Dan Burns later.…
