Drive European. You’ve got to admire a name which not only states a shop’s specialty, but proclaims a lifestyle. And there’s certainly no shortage of BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi vehicles cruising around the Washington, D.C., metro area — but that doesn’t make it any easier for Proprietor and General Manager Wasam “Sam” Dawood.

“You can draw a 15-mile radius from here and you will have three BMW dealerships, same with Mercedes, same with Audi, almost the same with Porsche, plus a ton of independents,” he declared. “Frankly, I’m advertising heavily, spending a ton of money [on web presence]. It starts with my customer-relations software, which I use to market to people day in and day out.” 

To that end Dawood recently switched his software to MyShopManager, proclaiming it’s been a game changer in refining the Drive European customer experience. 

“MyShopManager does a lot of things [the former platform] was doing with automated reminders and things like that, but one of the biggest things it does are automated texts that go out to check on the customer and their car.”
