The Rolls-Royce Company was founded by Frederick Henry Royce, known as Henry Royce, who was an engineer in 1884. In 1894 Royce started to manufacture electric cranes, and in 1904 Henry began to build automobiles also. Charles Rolls, who was a car dealer in London and a marketing person, liked the cars and quality of the cars Royce produced and made a proposal to Royce that if Royce made the cars Rolls would market the cars. …
