ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) _ Monro Muffler Brake Inc. (MNRO) on Wednesday reported fiscal third-quarter profit of $16.3 million.
The Rochester, New York-based company said it had profit of 48 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 49 cents per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 51 cents per share.
The automotive repair chain posted revenue of $341.8 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $336.9 million.
