SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) _ O’Reilly Automotive Inc. (ORLY) on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $585.4 million.
The Springfield, Missouri-based company said it had profit of $9.17 per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $8.46 per share.
The auto parts retailer posted revenue of $3.8 billion in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $3.71 billion.
O’Reilly Automotive expects full-year earnings to be $32.35 to $32.85 per share, with revenue in the range of $14.1 billion to $14.3 billion.
