With many body shops swamped with work — the backlog of scheduled work at shops nationwide rose to an average of 4.8 weeks in July — and struggling with back-ordered parts, it’s understandable if collision repairers overlooked some industry-related news making headlines this year. ADAS impact on refinish
Representatives of several paint companies on a CIECA webcast last summer cautioned that like nearly every other aspect of collision repair, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are impacting refinishing.
