ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) _ Monro Muffler Brake Inc. (MNRO) on Wednesday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $21 million.
On a per-share basis, the Rochester, New York-based company said it had profit of 62 cents.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 55 cents per share.
The automotive repair chain posted revenue of $347.7 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $333.9 million.
